Welcoming Guests:

The minister shall say

"We are accumulated here today within the presence of God to join this man and this lady in sacred marriage," which is practically indistinguishable to the Presbyterian opening, "We are assembled here today to witness the marriage of (groom’s name) and (bride’s name) in heavenly marriage."

The Bride Walk:

Exchanging rings:

At that point the ring, bride might be given to the Minister, who should pass it to the groom, who should then put it upon the bride’s fourth finger likewise bride also shall then put it upon groom’s fourth finger.

The administration for a Christian wedding in India is much the same as a Western style with one major special case: The groom will place Mangalasutra instead of ring around the neck. In India for a Christian Woman Thali is the sign that she has been married. Rings are likewise exchanged during the engagement ceremony.

Post wedding Ceremony:

Post wedding customs includes the bride to hurl the bunch of flowers (she has been holding all through the wedding behind her), at a gathering of awaiting unmarried young ladies, without looking. It is believed that for whomever the bouquet falls will get married soon. This is known as the “Bouquet tossing function”.  

Post wedding there will be a reception party where all the guests will be gathered and welcome newlywed couple. Then they cut the cake and feed each other a piece of cake. The most part of the reception is celebrated with dance, super party, live band performs and a dinner.
