The Situation of Present Education System in India

We all know that education is most important factor for everybody. Education is the only wealth that no one can theft. According to a great philosopher “Education is a passport for the future” and also he included that “Tomorrow belongs to the people who prepare it today”.  All the countries in the world are giving the most importance to education. There are different education policies and systems in different countries. Here in this article we will focus on the current education system in India.

In the present education system of India, we are giving the importance for basics all the subjects at primary education level. This is the good sign in our education system. There are 4 levels in Indian education system they are primary, secondary, graduation and higher education. From class 1 to 7 will comes under primary education, from class 8 to class XII comes under Secondary, Any bachelor degree comes under Graduation level and the research related studies will comes under higher education level.

Finance minister Arun Jaitley announced in the union budget 2018 that education is a priority area for the government and allocated Rs 85,010 crore for the 2018-19. However, less than 4% higher than the revised budget estimate of the current year. The 2017-18 budget estimates had attached an expenditure of Rs 79,685.95 crore, which was later revised to Rs 81,868 crore. The education system expenditure is predicted to grow at an average annual rate of 18% to reach 250K crore in the coming 10 years.

The present education system has altered what it was few decades ago; here we are listing a few highlights of the present education system:

Technology:

The introduction of technology in education system as well as in our life has completely altered the face of Indian Education System. Now the kids at the age of 3-4 years are capable to handle Smartphones, iPads and many other electronic gadgets and computers smoothly. That means before entering into education system they are aware about technology. This is happened with time, according to time the brain has started adapting the technological changes. The different technologies has introduced in learning such as use of internet connections, interaction with teachers, scholars across globe has become easy.

Few years back the career options were limited, but now there are huge number (we can say unlimited) of career options available for the students.
